161 <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 81-303, determining on the basis of a review of initial environ- <br />mental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would <br /> Cit ' <br />occur as outlined in the y s guidelines and that a mitigated negative declara- <br />tion is appropriate for development plan approval for a 75 lot single-family resi- <br />dential Planned Unit Development to be located on the north side of Valley Avenue, <br />between Kolln Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated he had concerns about the fence and felt there should be <br />some cut throughs to provide easier access for children. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Ordinance No. 996, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of Morrison Homes for development plan approval for a 75 <br />lot single-family residential Planned Unit Development to be located on the north <br />side of Valley Avenue, between Kolln Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks, <br />the existing zoning of the property is PUD-MediumDensity Residential (Planned Unit <br />Development) District, subject to all conditions contained in Planning Commission <br />Resolution No. 2049, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to pre~one approximately 51 acres to an A <br />(Agricultural) District~ or any other zonin8 district consistent with the General <br />~an~ located on the west side of Foothill Road~ directly across from Foothill <br />~i~h School <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the <br />proJect~ the Director of rlannin~ and Community Development has determined that <br />the proposed proJec.t would not have any potential siSnificant a.dverse effects on <br />the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be_prepared. <br />This Initial Study. is available for review at the Plannin~ Division~ 200 Bernal <br />Avenue~ Pleasanton. Comments on this decision may be directed to either the <br />Plannin~ staff prior to the above meetinM dater or directly to the City Council <br />at the above ~qticed meetin8 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 81:301) dated September 1, 1981 regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Otis Bradshaw, 7208 Tulipwood Circle, stated he is in favor of this <br />prezoning application. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the'public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> S. 9/8/Sl <br /> <br /> <br />
