C TYMA ASER <br /> Certification of Referendum Petition for City of Pleasanton Ordinance No. 973 <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 81:228) dated'July 6, 1981, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- <br /> membe~ Kephart, that Resolution No. 81-219, accepting the Certification of Referendum <br /> 'Petition for City of Pleasanton Ordinance No. 973 (Meyer Project), and continuing the <br /> decision on whether to call an election or repeal the ordinance, to the meeting of <br /> August 11, 1981, be adopted. <br />09 The roll call vote was as <br />C~ AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES:' None <br />hO ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Insurance C~verage for 1981-82 <br /> Mrs. Wagner presented her report (SR 81:223) dated June 29, 1981, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br /> approving the City's 1981-82 insurance coverage as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Authorize the staff to purchase the following insurance policies: <br /> <br /> ~ (a) Canadian Indemnity Insurance Co., $1,000,000 of <br /> Municipal Liability Insurance in excess of the <br /> $50,000 S.I.R., with a $300,000 annual Stop Loss $23,800. <br /> <br /> (b) Lexington Insurance Co., $9,000,000 Umbrella Liability $10,200. <br /> <br /> (c) Continental Insurance Company, Property and Cr'ime, <br /> Police ~o. CBP 905039 $22,812. <br /> <br /> (d) Employer's Reinsurance Corporation, Excess Worker's <br /> Compensation $11,250. <br /> <br /> 2.Authorize the staff to renew the fol]owing contracts for cla~s <br /> administration for the City's Self-Insurance Frogram: <br /> <br /> (a) R. L. Kautz, Clahns Administrator for Municipal Liability. <br /> <br /> (b) E.S.I.S., Claims.
