481 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report on Affordable Housin~ <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item be heard last on the agenda. <br /> <br />Fire PEptecti0n.Services StUd7 for the North Pleasanton Area <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 81:230) dated July 7, 1981, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that Resolution No. 81-221, approving a fire protection services study <br />contract between the City of Pleasanton and Ryland Research, Inc., not to exceed <br />$33,570, and authorizing the City Manager to sign the contract on behalf of the <br />City, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report on Residential Child Care Facilities <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 81:237) dated July 7, 1981, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />the City not institute any further regulations of residential child care facilities <br />within the City at this time. <br />The .roll Cal~.yote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Authorization to .participate width ~the State. of Ca!iforni~..in ~ewalk project on <br />Foothill Road at the !-580..Interchange.. <br /> 'Mr. ~ar~ck p~esented his report (SR 81:236) d~tedjUi~ 7~"i981, regarding~this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 81-222, authorizing the CL~jj~y te participate with the State of Call~; <br />fornia in sidewalk project on Foothill Road at the 1-580 Interchange, and directing <br />staff to advise.
