383 <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Section 8230 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of California, the <br /> City Council herebZ declares its intention to vacate a portion of the right-of-way <br /> of the Del Valle ParkwaZ unnecessary for present or prospective public use, said <br /> portion being a 0.47 acre parcel of ~nd lying alon~ the southerly ri~ht-of-wa7 be- <br /> tween the roadway and Ar.roTo De~ Valle near the intersection of Wyomin~ Street and <br /> Del Valle Parkway, more particularly described as Parcel B of Tract 4401~ on file <br /> in the Engineering Division of the City of Pleasanton <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 82:188) dated May 19, 1982, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Alan Campbell, representing Mr. Auf der Maur, stated he concurred with the <br /> staff report and recommendations and would answer any questions that Council might <br /> have. Council did not ask any questions regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed on this item. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br /> Resolution No. 82-167, declaring intention to vacate a portion of the Del Valle <br /> Parkway and authorizing execution of a deed from the City of Pleasanton to Frank <br /> Auf der Maur for this property, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken b~ the Design Review Board and Plannin~ Commission at their meetin~ <br />of 5-19-82 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:185) dated May 20, 1982, regarding this <br />matter for the information of the Council. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that an item approved by the Design Review Board <br />regarding the application of Rossi Development Company and Hopyard Associates for <br />design review approval of an approximately 36,000 sq. ft., one hundred unit motel <br />and related facilities on an approximately two acre site located at the southeast <br />corner of 1-580 and Hopyard Road, be reviewed by Council because of the magnitude <br />of the project. Council concurred, and scheduled this to be considered at the meet- <br />ing of June 22, 1982. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Acceptance of Public Improvement.~ for Tract 4432~ Country Fair Unit No. 1 <br /> (Contd. from 4-27-82 and 5-11-82) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:189) dated May 19, 1982, regarding this <br />matter and stating the developer has now restored the landscaped area to compliance <br />with the project specifications. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 82-168, accepting the public improvements for Tract 4432, Country Fair <br />Unit l, Ponderosa Homes, and authorizing the City Attorney to file a Notice of Com- <br />pletion for this tract, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 6. 5/25/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
