329 <br /> <br />Application of Meadow Plaza Associates for P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) zoning <br />and development plan approval for a commercial and office project consisting of five <br />structures totalling. approximately 88~000 sq. ft. on an approximately eight acre <br />site located at the southeast corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita <br />Road. Included in the project is a list of proposed uses for the site. Zoning for <br />the property i.s C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) District. The City Council may re- <br />commend any action relative to the proposal consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the <br />proj.ect, the Director of Planning and Community Development has determined that <br />the proposed project would not have any potential significant adverse effects on <br />the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. This <br />Initial StUdY is available for review at the Planning Division~ 200 Bernal Avenue~ <br />Pleasanton. Comments on this decision may be directed to either the Planning staff <br />~rior to the above meeting date~ or directly to the City Council at the above <br />noticed meeting. <br /> Mr. Walker stated his office had received a telephone call this date from Mr. <br />Kierstead's office, asking this item be scheduled after 9:00 p.m., on the agenda. <br />Council concurred. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment~ Design Review Boardr and Planning Commis- <br />sion at their meeting of 3-10-82 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:96) dated March 11, 1982, regarding this <br />matter for the information of the Council. No action was required or taken by Council <br />on this item. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Regional Housing Need Data for Pleasanton Housing Element <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:97) dated March 11, 1982, regarding this <br />matter, stating that State law requires cities to revise housing elements to include <br />regional housing numbers, and that these numbers were prepared for Pleasanton by ABAG. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 82-104, approving local government acceptance of housing needs deter- <br />minations, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />Four-Way Stop Studies for the Intersections of Valley Avenue at Crestline Road~ .and <br />M.alley Avenue at Northway Road/Blackbird <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:108) dated March 24, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, to install <br />four-way stop signs at the intersections of Valley Avenue at Crestline Road, and <br />Valley Avenue at Northway Road/Blackbird. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated he felt there was over-concern with numbers; but this <br />particular street ranked well below the points required for installation of stop signs. <br /> <br /> 8. 3/23/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
