339 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1031, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br /> approving the application of Ernest and Charlotte Jones to rezone approximately 4.5 <br /> acres of land located at the northwest corner of Rose Avenue and Rose Lane from the <br /> "A" (Agricultural) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density <br /> Residential District, be introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br /> Application of the Cit~ of Pleasanton to rezone two parcels totallin$ approximately <br /> one acre at 1550 and 1588 Rose Avenue (Lane) from the "A" (Agricultural) to the <br /> R-l-20 or R-l-10 (Single-family Residential) District or to any. other zoning dis- <br /> trict consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br /> On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the <br /> project, the Director of Planning and Community Development has determined that <br /> the proposed pro'3'eCt wo~l~ not have ~ny potential significant adverse effects on <br /> the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. This <br /> Initial Study is available for review at the Planning Division~ 200 Bernal Avenue, <br /> Pleasanton. Comments on this decision may be directed to either the Plannin~ staff <br /> prior to the above meeting date, o_r. directly to the City Council at the above <br /> noticed meetin~ ' <br /> (Contd. Open from 3-9-82) <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:103) dated March 15, 1982, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the continued public hearing open on the application and <br /> the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the application and the nega- <br /> tive declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 82-101, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate to <br />rezone two parcels totalling approximately one acre at 1550 and 1588 Rose Avenue <br />(Lane) from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the R-I-20,000 (Single-family Resi- <br />dential) District, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Council- <br />member Butler, that Ordinance No. 1032, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone two <br />parcels totalling approximately one acre at 1550 and 1588 Rose Avenue (Lane) from <br />the "A" (Agricultural) District to the R-i-20,000 (Single-family Residential) Dis- <br />trict, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br /> 4. 3/23/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
