Orloff for <br /> development plan approval and PUD-High Density Residential zoning which would allow <br /> the construction of 150 apartment units and 20 condominium units on a 9.31 acre <br /> site located on the south side of Valley Avenue immediately west of Safeway Sho~ <br /> ping Center~ north of Amador Park~ and east of the single-family residential lots <br /> frontin~ on Brooktree Way <br /> ..(Intro. 2-9-82~ 4-Ayes~ 1-No) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1021 was introduced on February 9, 1982, <br /> by a vote of 4-Ayes, 1-No, and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1021, approving the application of Thomas J. Orloff for development <br /> plan approval and PUD-High Density Residential zoning which would allow the construc- <br /> tion of 150 apartment units and 20 condominium units on a 9.31 acre site located on <br /> the south side of Valley Avenue immediately west of Safeway Shopping Center, north <br /> of Amador Park, and east of the single-family residential lots fronting on Brooktree <br /> Way, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmember Wood <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Adoption of Ordinance No. 1023~ modifying the City's Growth Management Regulations <br /> by amending Title II~ Chapter 13 (Residential Allocation Program) in its entirety <br /> (Intro. 2-9-82t 5-Ayes) <br /> <br /> Adoption of Implementing Resolution relative to the City's Growth Management <br /> Ordinance <br /> (Contd. from 2-9-82) <br /> Mr. Swift presented his reports (SR 82:79 and SR 82:80) dated February 18, 1982, <br /> regarding these matters. <br /> <br /> Council reviewed the reports and made the following changes: <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, to <br /> amend the ordinance as follows: Section 2-20.01, second paragraph be corrected <br /> changing the word "dispersing" to "dispensing"; clarify Section 2-20.04(a) to mean <br /> construction of one single-family residence on a lot in existence; add an exemption <br /> for minor subdivisions (four lots or less); and in Section 2-20.05(b)(2) Lower- <br /> Income Housing Set-Aside, change the word "shall" to "may". <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 7. 2/23/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
