Council referred it to the Planning Commission for <br /> their recommendation, and it was now in order to make a decision on the issue. After <br /> discussion, Council determined not to make any comment or recommendation on the Oak- <br /> land Game Room Ordinance, and instructed staff to notify Supervisor Excell of this <br /> decision. <br /> <br /> Park and Recreation Commission Change in Meeting Date <br /> Mayor Mercer presented the Information Report of the Director of Recreation and <br /> Human Resources (IR 82:4) dated February 3, 1982, regarding this matter for the <br /> information of the Council, advising them that the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> meeting date would be changed from the 4th Wednesday of each month to the 3rd Wed- <br /> nesday of each month. No Council action was required or taken on this item. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITYMANAGER <br /> Resolution making application to LAFCO, agreeing to the exchange ~f property tax <br /> revenues~ and initiating prezonin~ for Annexation No. 94 (Schwerin-Moller-City~ <br /> approximatel~ 185 acres west of Foothill Road and south of Dublin Canyon Road) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:45) dated February 2, 1982, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> Ms. Vickie Lewis, Dublin Canyon Road, stated she was concerned about access to <br /> this property and possible use of her easement near the property. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated she had originally voted in favor of this annexation <br /> but had grave concerns about the irregularity of the City limit line, and now felt <br /> she could not support it. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart stated he could not support the annexation because he felt <br /> it creates an island. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Mayor <br /> Mercer, that Resolution No. 82-54, making application to LAFCO, agreeing to the <br /> exchange of property tax revenues, and initiating prezoning for Annexation No. 94 <br /> (Schwerin-Moller-City, approximately 185 acres west of Foothill Road and south of <br /> Dublin Canyon Road), be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, and Wood <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Proposed Ordinance Controlling Backflow and Cross-connections in the City Water System <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:43) dated February 2, 1982, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1024, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />'adding Article 4 (control of backflow and cross-connections) to Chapter 9 of Title <br /> II of the Code of the City of Pleasanton, California, be introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Estimated Number of Residential Units Allowed Under Proposed Growth Management <br /> Program to Reach 1986 and 1996 Population Benchmarks <br /> This item was considered earlier with items 8d and 8e on the agenda. <br /> <br /> 17. 2/9/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
