Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:5) dated January 5, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Matilda Teixeira, applicant, 2820 Vineyard Avenue, stated she concurred with <br />the Planning Commission recommendations. She requested that the City replace the <br />brick work in front of her residence when the road widening is completed. <br /> <br /> Mr. James Griffen, 3036 Chardonnay Drive, stated he felt that low-medium density <br />zoning is appropriate for this property. He added that when this area is developed <br />that appropriate park lands should be required. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br />on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 82-9, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate to <br />prezone two parcels totalling 14.5 acres in the vicinity of 2820 Vineyard Avenue <br />(eastern terminus of Chardonnay Drive) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Resi- <br />dential District, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember WOod, and seconded by Council- <br />member Kephart, that Ordinance No. 1016, to be read bytitle only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone two <br />parcels totalling 14.5 acres in the vicinity of 2820 Vineyard Avenue (eastern terminus <br />of Chardonnay Drive) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Residential District, sub- <br />Ject to the following condition: "That the property owner dedicate to the City for <br />street right-of-way purposes a strip of land across the entire Vineyard Avenue front- <br />age of the subject property ranging in width from 11 ft. on the east to 27 ft. on the <br />west and totalling approximately 9,980 sq. ft., be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone two parcels totalling approximately <br />250 acres at the eastern terminus of Junipero Street to the PUD (Planned Unit Deve- <br />lopment)-Lo_w_Densi~y Residential/ORen.
