It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 82-8, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a mitigated negative declaration is appro- <br />priate to fezone from the PUD-High Density Residential District to the Planned Unit <br />Development-Commercial, Office, High Density Residential and Open Space District <br />(include a 5 acre park) and for development plan approval for an office/commercial/ <br />residential development containing approximately 1,430,000 sq. ft. of office/commer- <br />cial structures, a 300 unit hotel and 347 multi-family dwelling units on the 91.5 <br />acre site in the area bounded by Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Mall Road and Inter- <br />state Highways 580 and 680, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris asked that the first sentence of Condition 14, as recommended by the <br /> Planning Commission, not be changed. <br /> <br /> Council was given assurance by Daon Corporation that the office space would be <br />reduced from 855,000 sq. ft. to 775,000 sq. ft. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested that with regard to parking, if the Drachman system does <br />not work then other methods will be provided to supply adequate parking. Council- <br />member Butler concurred. The City Attorney indicated he could add language that <br />would take care of the situation should future problems arise. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated that with regard to the bank location, he has con- <br />cluded that this request should be treated as other lands in the C-R District. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris requested that an additional condition be added as Condition No. 61, <br />as follows: "That if it is determined by the City that site F-1 as shown on the <br />Development Plan is not needed for a fire station, the site shall be used for resi- <br />dential purposes; the design of which shall be approved a part of Design Review of <br />the entire residential portion of the subject property. This shall allow for <br />approximately 12 additional dwelling units in addition to the 347 units shown on <br />the Development Plan". <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- <br />member Kephart, that Ordinance No. 1014, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, approving the application of Daon Corporation and Stoneson Develop- <br />ment Corporation to fezone from the PUD-High Density Residential District to the <br />Planned Unit Development-Com~.ercial, Office, High Density Residential and Open Space <br />District (include a 5 acre park) and for development plan approval for an office/ <br />commercial/residential development containing approximately 1,430,000 sq. ft. of <br />office/commercial structures, a 300 unit hotel and 347 multi-family dwelling units <br />on the 91.5 acre site in the area bounded by Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Mall Road <br />and Interstate Highways 580 and 680, subject to the conditions in Planning Commission <br />Resolution No. 2110, modifying Condition No. 14 to allow the Drachman System of park- <br />ing, and Condition No. 16 to make financial institutions an allowed use, and adding <br />Condition No. 61 regarding the Fire Station site, with final language for Condition <br />No. 14 to be drafted by the City Attorney and submitted to City Council on January <br />26, 1982, and with total office space of 775,000 sq. ft., be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 6. 1/12/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
