Mrs. Deleray asked Council to support this petition and not to allow rezoning <br />for any use other than agricultural, and to make this position clear to the Board <br />of Supervisors. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hank Schneider, President of Stony Ridge Winery, stated this property is a <br />large agricultural parcel and he felt it should remain as such. City Council at the above <br />noticed meeting <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:6) dated January 5, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mike Harris, 6111 Johnson Drive, stated the project has been reduced to 61 <br />units with an increase from 3 to 13 guest parking spaces, as recommended by staff. <br />He stated the total project .parking spaces exceeds regulations. Mr. Harris stated <br />this is a quality townhouse development, and he requested approval of this applica- <br />tion. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, 'and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 82-7, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate for <br />Planned Unit Development zoning and development plan approval for a 61 unit high <br />density residential complex on a 4.7 acre site located on the north side of Vineyard <br />Avenue opposite A~sdor Court, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 3. 1/12/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
