REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Resolution Ordering Annexation of Annexation No. 87 (Kamp) <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Directorof Public Works and Utilities <br /> (SR 82:10) dated January 6, 1982, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that Resolution No. 82-14, ordering the annexation of Annexation No. 87, approxi- <br />mately 57 acres of land located on the northerly side of Mohr Avenue east of <br />Trenery Drive and owned by Mr. K3mp, be adopted. <br />The roll cali vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Resolution Ordertn~ Annexation of Annexation No. 88 (Bates) <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> (SR 82:9) dated January 6, 1982, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 82-15, ordering the annexation of Annexation No. 88, approximately <br />20 acres of land located on the northerly side of Vineyard Avenue adjacent-to the <br />Hacienda Mobile Home Park and owned by Mr. Bates, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br />Resolutions making ~pplication to LAFCO~.a~re.eing to t.he exchange of property tax <br />revenue and initiating prezoning for proposed Annexation No. 99 (Kottigger' Ranch) <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> (SR 82:11) dated January 6, 1982, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ted Fairfield, Civil Engineer representing the Hansen Association, stated <br />this annexation is being requested without any contingencies for future development <br />within the next year or more and that zoning will be low density/open space with a <br />small parcel of medium density. <br /> <br /> Ms. Susan Long, 3735 Crellin, stated she opposed this annexation. She stated <br />she felt there are other areas that should be inftlled before this property is <br />annexed. She stated she was not opposed to open space zoning.· <br /> <br /> After discussion,' it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Council- <br />member Butler, that Resolution No. 82-16, making application to LAFCO for Annexation <br />No. 99, 231 acres of land known as the Kottinger Ranch; Resolution No. 82-17, agree- <br />ing to the exchange of property tax revenues for Annexation No. 99, 231 acres of land <br />known as the bttinger Ranch; and Resolution No. 82-18, initiating prezoning for <br />Annexation No. 99, 231 acres of land known as the Kottinger Ranch, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Mohr and Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 16. 1/12/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
