The property is .zoned <br />C-C (Central Commercial) District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:4) dated January 5, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hugh Anton, of Jack Bras and Associates, representing the appellant, stated <br />that Council had recently approved an appeal by Mr. Mavridis from a decision of the <br />Board of Adjustment regarding variance for insufficient parking and open space rela- <br />tive to this proposed project. He stated that the Design Review Board has now denied <br />approval of the project because of their concern for lack of parking. He advised <br />that the project is the same as presented before and he felt approval of the appeal <br />would be in order. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br />on the item. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- <br />member Kephart, that Resolution No. 82-11, approving the appeal of Ted Mavridis of <br />a decision of the Design Review Board denying the design of a triplex proposed to be <br />located at 276 Spring Street, and approving the project subject to the 35 conditions <br />contained in the staff repork to the Design Review Board dated October 14, 1981, the <br />property is zoned C-C (Central Commercial) District, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Appeal of Wild West Stores of a decision of the Design RevieW Board denying their <br />application for a second wall sign on their store in the Best Plaza Shopping Cen~er <br />located at the northeast corner of Stoneridge ~ive.and.Spri~dale Avenue <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item, and continued to the <br />meeting of January 26, 1982, 8:00 P.M., Fairgrounds Cafeteria, at the request of Ad- <br />Art on behalf of Wild West Stores. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 9:35 P.M. <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 9:45 P.M. <br /> 10. 1/12/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
