Recommendation for approval of Rolicy regarding Field Closure during Inclement Weather <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Recreation and Human Resources <br /> (SR 82:454) dated November 3, 1982, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 82-448, approving a weather policy regarding the closure of all Pleasan- <br />ton Parks and Sports Fields whose use is facilitated by the City of Pleasanton staff <br />during inclement weather, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report on Necessary Pond Restoration (land leveling) on City of San Francisco Water <br />Department property __ <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:451) dated November 4, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> If was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 82-449, approving plans and specifications for necessary pond restora- <br />tion (land leveling) City and County of San Francisco Water Department property; auth- <br />orization to complete this work by passage of a resolution by at least a four-fifths <br />vote of the Councilmembers declaring that the public interest and necessity demand the <br />immediate expenditure of public money to safeguard life, health, or property; authorize <br />the City Manager to execute the attached Land Use Permit and approve payment of re- <br />quired fees; and appropriate $20,000 for a Sanitary Sewer Capital Improvement Project <br />for this work and the lease payments, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mayor Butler presented the Information Report of the City Manager (IR 82:28) <br />dated November 4, 1982, regarding Crime Statistics. No action was required or taken <br />by Council on this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler presented the Information Report of the Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities (IR 82:27) dated November 1, 1982, transmitting the Minutes from the Staff <br />Traffic Committee meeting of October 20, 1982, for the information of the Council. No <br />action was required or taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler presented the City Council agenda Planning Report for November, <br />December, and January. <br /> <br />West Las Positas Overcrossing - Recommendation for Change in Funding <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:455) dated November 9, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, authoriz- <br />ing the Director of Public Works to transmit a letter of understanding to Caltrans <br /> Cit ' <br />expressing the y s willingness to contribute matching funds ($202,300) for con- <br />struction of an overcrossing for West Las Positas Boulevard at Interstate 680 in lieu <br />of previous arrangements. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 13. 11/9/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
