Request for Connection to CitX Sewer for 744 MockinSbird Lane (Brewer) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:442) dated November 3, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding the size of pipe for the line. Dr. Glafkides <br />requested that the owners only be allowed to run the pipe to their own line. Council- <br />member Brandes asked if Mr. Brewer has been notified of the Homeowners Association <br />meetings. Dr. Glafkides advised that Mr. Brewer does not reside at this address so <br />probably was not notified. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 82-445, authorizing the connection of Bill Brewer at 744 Mockingbird <br />Lane to the City sewer system, provided all main extension and connection work is <br />done to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and all costs are borne by the property <br />owner; requiring the owner to sign a Sanitary Sewer Facility and Preannexation Agree- <br />ment for future annexation; and agreeing to consider a reimbursement agreement after <br />costs have been determined, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report~o_n PropOsed 4greement with CDM for Preliminary Design of the Proposed Foothill <br />Res ervo ir <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:443) dated November 3, 1982, regarding <br />this item. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mercer, that Resolution No. 82-446, accepting the proposal dated September 16, <br />1982 as submitted by Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc., and authorize the execution of an <br />appropriate contract for Phase One investigation work by the Mayor as approved to form <br />by the City Attorney; and accepting the offer dated October 18, 1982 as submitted by <br />The Prudential Insurance Company and authorize the Mayor to enter into an appropriate <br />agreement as approved by the City Attorney, to have Prudential pay for the costs of the <br />Phase One investigation work for the Foothill Reservoir, said agreement to include <br />wording agreeing to allow Prudential to receive appropriate credit within any future <br />Water Assessment District for payments made for Phase One services, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Approval of Specifications and Authorization to Solicit Bids for New City Telephone <br />System <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Assistant to the City Manager (SR 82:445) <br />dated November 2, 1982, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer abstained from participation in this item due to Conflict of <br />Interest. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that Resolution No. 82-447, approving the specifications for the new City <br />telephone system, and authorizing solicitation for bids, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Mercer <br /> <br /> 12. 11/9/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
