The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Review of the draft revised Housing Element of the General Plan of the City of <br /> Pleasanton formulated pursuant to State Government Code Section 65583 and State <br /> Housing Element Guidelines. The purpose of the revised element is to evaluate <br /> existin5 and projected community housing needs and to offer a workable housin8 <br /> program to meet said needs <br /> <br /> Consider adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:427) dated October 18, 1982, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on the application and the nega- <br /> tive declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he felt the 25% multiples and 75% single-family <br />ratio is unrealistic and not maintainable, and should be changed to 20%-80% ratio. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 82-424, determining on the basis of a review of <br />initial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br />impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declara- <br />tion is appropriate for the Housing Element of the General Plan of the City of <br />Pleasanton formulated pursuant to State Government Code Section 65582 and State <br />Housing Element Guidelines, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 82-425, approving the revised Housing Element of the General Plan of <br />the City of Pleasanton formulated pursuant to State Government Code Section 65582 <br />and State Housing Element Guidelines, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Design Review Board and Planning Commission at their meeting <br />of 10-13-82 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:412) dated October 15, 1982, regarding <br />this matter for the information of the Council.
