<br /> The roll call is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr,
<br />Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald,
<br />City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris,
<br />Director of Planning and Community Development, Mrs. Bengtson, Director of Recrea-
<br />tion and Human Resources, and Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, were present.

<br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS
<br /> Mr. Walker requested the following two items be added to the Consent Calendar:
<br />
<br />item 4s - Acceptance of a Grant Deed from Pleasanton Properties Company for a
<br /> portion of the Arroyo Del Valle Required under their Condominium
<br /> Conversion
<br />
<br />item 4t - Acceptance of Grant Deeds from the Pleasanton Santa Rita Partnership
<br /> and Morici Corporation and from the Hospital Committee for the
<br /> Livermore-Pleasanton Area
<br />
<br /> Mr. Walker stated that a letter had been received this date from Mr. William
<br />Hirst, Attorney for Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich, requesting the withdrawal of item 12a -
<br />Request for Annexation from William and Gladys Heinrich at 3683 Vineyard Avenue.
<br />
<br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that item 4g - Approval of Plans and Specifica-
<br />tions and Authorization to Advertise for Bids for Traffic Signal at Santa Rita Road
<br />and Mohr Avenue, Project 82-6, be removed from the Consent Calendar and moved to
<br />item 12i on the agenda for discussion.
<br />
<br /> Councilmember Mercer requested that the Minutes of August 24, 1982, be corrected
<br />on page 5 under remarks of Mr. Paul Ebright, to reflect that Mr. Ebright stated that
<br />he felt the City Council was being dishonest with the citizens, and Councilmember
<br />Hercer stated the City Council was not a party to that agreement.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that
<br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved:
<br />
<br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for August 24, 1982 as amended, and for August
<br /> 31, 1982.
<br />
<br />b. Proclaim October, 1982, as Lions White Cane Month.
<br />
<br />c. Proclaim October 3-9, 1982, as Symphony Week in Pleasanton.
<br />
<br />d. Proclaim September 12-18, 1982, as Emergency Medicine Week in Pleasanton.
<br />
<br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-335, after review of bids, award contract for
<br /> Interceptor Sewer Project, Cathodic Protection Systems, CWG Project C-06-1082,
<br /> to Harco Corporation, Hayward, California, in the amount of $35,380.00, and
<br /> authorizing the appropriate city officials to execute the contract.
<br />
<br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-336, approving plans and agreement for the con-
<br /> struction of off-site storm drain improvements for PUD 81-2, Farmers Insurance
<br /> Group, Dublin Canyon Road, and authorizing the appropriate city officials to
<br /> execute the agreement.
<br />
<br />g. Move to item 12i on the agenda, approval of plans and specifications for traffic
<br /> signal installation at Santa Rita Road and Mohr Avenue, Project No. 82-6, and
<br /> authorization to advertise for bids.
