109 It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that Resolution No. 82-325, approving the application of Pacific Telephone Company for development plan approval of a 16,800 sq. ft. building and related facilities on an approximately 1.6 acre site located on the west side of Willow Road approximately 600 feet north of the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and Willow Road, subject to all conditions shown in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2206, be adopted. It was moved by Mayor Butler to amend the motion to delete Condition 5 from Planning Commission Resolution No. 2206, which requires the transformer shown near the southeast corner of the building shall be undergrounded or moved to the rear of the building and properly screened. The motion died for lack of a second. The roll call vote on the adoption of Resolution No. 82-325 was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAINED:Councilmember Mercer Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend Article 8~ and related portions of .c..hapter 2~ Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to further de- fine regulations related to outdoor sales Mr. MacDonald advised that the Times had published the public hearing date incorrectly on this item, but had republished the item correctly in a later paper, therefore Council could proceed to consider this matter. Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:318) dated August 13, 1982, regarding this matter. Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open. No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed. Councilmember Mercer questioned the limit on the number of times per year allowed for outdoor sales. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- member Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1051, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend Article 8, and related portions of Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to further define regulations related to outdoor sales, as presented in Staff Report 82:318, be introduced.
