Zoning for the prop.e~ty i_s P_Up_~(Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Com- <br />mercial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:296) dated August 2, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. He advised that the mitigated Negative Declaration relative to this project <br />has previously been approved. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bill Turpie, representing Meyer Properties, stated he concurs with the con- <br />ditions, and that the project is a logical extension of the development. He noted <br />that the area to be approved is more properly designated as "Area 2" rather than <br />"Phase II", because actual development may occur anywhere in the park during its <br />early stages. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Butler declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that <br />Ordinance No. 1046, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of Meyer Properties, Inc., for development plan approval <br />(Phase 2) for the northwestern portion of an approximately 82 acre site including <br />approximately 484,000 sq. ft. of office, research and development, and light indus- <br />trial uses located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Hopyard Road and <br />Stoneridge Drive, subject to all conditions contained in the staff report to the <br />Planning Commission dated July 28, 1982, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br /> 6. 8/10/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
