197 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 82-249, ordering Annexation No. 99; Kottinger Ranch, 230 acres <br />of land south of Vintage Hills area, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood indicated he would like to review the Minutes of the LAFCO <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Award of Three-Year Contract for Independent Audit <br /> Mrs. Wagner presented her report (SR 82:255) dated June 15, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 82-250, awarding the three-year contract for audit <br />services to the firm of Gielow and Lajala in the amount of $43,800.00, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Fire Department Inspection Fee Schedule <br /> Chief Hill presented his report (SR 82:213) dated July 2, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the proposed fees and routine inspections of exist- <br />ing properties together with revenues generated due to the new development in the <br />area. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood praised Fire Marshal Ted Klenk for all his hard work in <br />inspections. He suggested that perhaps in-service personnel or those on disability <br />could be utilized in the fire inspection work. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />that Resolution No. 82-251, amending the fees and charges schedule to include the <br />fire inspection fee schedule as presented in staff report SR 82:213, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Local Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Revenue Allocation Agreement <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 82:261) dated July 7, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Considerable discussion ensued regarding the condition of Pleasanton's streets <br />and the need for additional fuel tax monies to pay for maintenance and repair. The <br />proposed fuel tax will be on the November ballot if cities in the area pass resolu- <br />tions agreeing to. In conjunction with putting the tax on the ballot it is critical <br />that an agreement be reached regarding distribution of the fuel tax revenues. There <br />was some discussion regarding the amount of fuel tax, whether it should be three <br />cents or nine cents. Mr. Warnick indicated that all counties would have to agree <br />and charge the same amount. <br /> <br /> 11. 7/13/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
