Application of Center Park Associates for design review approval of three single- <br /> story business park buildings and related facilities on approximately 5.8 acres in <br /> the Meyer Business Park as follows: an approximately 26,000 sq. ft. building on <br /> approximateA.v 1.7 acres on the west side of Franklin Drive opposite Morse Drive; <br /> an approximately 26,000 sq. ft. building on approximately 1.7 acres on the west <br /> side of Franklin Drive, just north of its intersection with Morse Drive; and an <br /> approximately .~4~000 sq. ft. building. on approximately 2.4 acres on the north <br /> side of Franklin Drive approximately 600 feet west of its intersection with John- <br /> son Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industriat/ <br /> Commercial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:467) dated October 17, 1983, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bart Rinker, representing Center Park Associates, presented drawings and <br /> described the project in detail. He stated he concurred with staff recommendations <br /> as well as Planning Commission findings, and would work with Meyer Business Center <br /> in complying with the established PUD conditions and CC&R guidelines. <br /> <br /> Mr. Craig Scheidt, Meyer Properties, stated he is in agreement with the design <br /> and feels this is a high quality project which will be a fine addition to the Meyer <br /> Business Park and to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Butler declared the public hearing <br /> closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 83-479, approving the application of Center Park Associates for design <br />review approval of three single-story business park buildings and related facilities <br />on approximately 5.8 acres in the Meyer Business Park as follows: an approximately <br />26,000 sq. ft. building on approximately 1.7 acres on the west side of Franklin Drive <br />opposite Morse Drive; and approximately 26,000 sq. ft. building on approximately 1.7 <br />acres on the west side of Franklin Drive, just north of its intersection with Morse <br />Drive; and an approximately 34,000 sq. ft. building on approximately 2.4 acres on the <br />north side of Franklin Drive approximately 600 feet west of its intersection with <br />Johnson Drive, subject to all conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution <br />No. 2366, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the Prudential Insurance CompanX of America to rezone approximately <br />twent,v-one acres located north and south of West Las Positas Boulevard west of its <br />intersection with Stoneridge Drive from L-I (Light Industrial) to the I-P (Indus- <br />trial Park) District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:466Y dated October 17, 1983, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jack Swanson, representing Prudential Insurance Company, stated he concurred <br />with the staff report and conditions attached thereto. <br /> <br /> 8. 10/25/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
