375: <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 83-447, after determining that Council has read and considered the <br />Environmental Impact Report prepared for the overall Hacienda Business Park project; <br />that the environmental effects of the project before this Council are adequately <br />covered by the prior Hacienda EIR and, in fact, overstate the potential impacts be- <br />cause the full Hacienda Business Park cannot be built without a General Plan change; <br />that this Council finds the potential cumulative environmental effects are those <br />enumerated in the staff report but that the conditions of approval minimize these <br />effects and any remaining effects are outweighed by the projects benefits, all as <br />enumerated in the staff report and attachments and testimony given at this meeting; <br />that based on the best estimate of the jobs/housing balance in Pleasanton given <br />development of this project and all other approved projects, the project is consis- <br />tent with the balanced growth policies contained in the Growth Management Element of <br />the General Plan and is also consistent with all other policies of the General Plan, <br />therefore approve Case Z-83-192, application of the Prudential Insurance Company of <br />America for design review approval of two research and development/light manufactur- <br />ing buildings tOtalling approximately 90,000 sq. ft., and related facilities on an <br />approximately six acre site located on the south side of West Las Positas Boulevard <br />just west of its intersection with Willow Road, subject to all conditions contained <br />in Design Review Board Resolution No. R-83-35, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 83-448, after determining that Council has read and considered the <br />Environmental Impact Report prepared for the overall Hacienda Business Park project; <br />that the environmental effects of the project before this Council are adequately <br />covered by the prior Hacienda EIR and, in fact, overstate the potential impacts be- <br />cause the full Hacienda Business Park cannot be built without a General Plan change; <br />that this Council finds the potential cumulative environmental effects are those <br />enumerated in the staff report but that the conditions of approval minimize these <br />effects and any remaining effects are outweighed by the projects benefits, all as <br />enumerated in the staff report, and attachments and testimony given at this meeting; <br />that based on the best estimate of the jobs/housing balance in Pleasanton given <br />development of this project and all other approved projects, the project is consis- <br />tent with the balanced growth policies contained in the Growth Management Element of <br />the General Plan and is also consistent with all other policies of the General Plan, <br />therefore approve Case Z-83-193, application of Ca!lahan Pentz Properties, Pleasanton, <br />for design r%view approval of three research and development/light manufacturing <br />buildings, totalling approximately 165,000 sq. ft., and related facilities on an <br />approximately twelve acre site located on the east side of Gibraltar Drive and <br />bounded by Stonerldge Drive and Tassajara Creek on the east and south, subject to <br />all conditions contained in Design Review Board Resolution No. R-83-36, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler recessed the meeting at 10:50 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler reconvened the meeting at 11:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Application of Foothill Builders and DeWitt Wilson to modify a recorded condition of <br />approval affecting a portion of Subdivision Tract 4373, Parcel ~ap 3529 and Parcel <br />Map 2293 to reduce an existing building setback from the required 40 feet to 10 feet <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 83:435) dated October 6, 1983, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> 10. 10/11/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
