Proclaim the Week of August 1-6, 1983, as Muscular Dystrophy Bowl-A-Thon Week <br /> in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Bowl-A-Thon and the sponsoring Pleasanton <br /> Jaycees and Granada Bowl. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Mercer on item 4z <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> ' Councilmember Mercer stated that a letter had been received from the Mayor of <br />Dublin requesting that a representative from Pleasanton be appointed to serve on a <br />committee with representatives from Dublin and San Ramon to review potential changes <br />in the Dublin San Ramon Services District. Councilmember Mercer volunteered to serve <br />on this committee because of his affiliation with LAFCO and as a member of the Sewer <br />Committee.
