115 <br /> <br />The roll. call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1094, approving the application of Holiday Inns, Inc., for <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development) development plan approvalfor a six (6) story hotel <br />and related facilities on the 4.39 acre site located just northwest of the inter- <br />section of Foothill and Dublin Canyon Roads <br />(intro. 7-12-83, 4-Ayes, i-No) <br /> Mayor Butler stated that Ordinance No. 1094 was introduced on July 12, 1983, by <br />a vote of 4-Ayes, 1-No, and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:270) dated July 14, 1983, transmitting <br />the Planning Commission minutes of July 13, 1983, at which time the Commission voted <br />3-2 to support the revised plan of Holiday Inns, as referred to them by Council at <br />their meeting of July 12, 1983. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Mayor Butler, that Ordinance <br />No. 1094, approving the application of Holiday Inns, Inc., for PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) development plan approval for a six (6) story hotel and related facili- <br />ties on the 4.39 acre site located just northwest of the intersection of Foothill and <br />Dublin Canyon RoadS, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Mercer <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Board of. Adjustment, Design Review Board and Planning Commission <br />at their meeting of 7-13-83 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:264) dated July 14, 1983, regarding-this <br />matter for the information of the Council. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer requested Council appeal of UP-83-16, application of Chris <br />Beratlis for conditional use permit approval to ~erate a 940 sq. ft. "take-out" <br />restaurant at 929 "B" Main Street, because of inadequate parking spaces. Council <br />concurred with the appeal of the decision of the Planning Commission for approval <br />of this application. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Renovation and Redecoration of Century House <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Recreation and Human Resources <br />(SR 83:302) dated July 21, 1983, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 83-316, awarding contract to Jim Wanberg for the renovation and re- <br />decoration of the upstairs of Century House, and allocating $4,000 for this project <br />and amending the Government Buildings budget accordingly, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> 15. 7/26/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
