<br /> Mayor Butler stated that Ordinance No. 1091 was introduced on June 28, 1983, by a
<br /> vote of 3-Ayes, 1-No, 1-Absent, and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that
<br /> Ordinance No. 1091, amending Title I (Administration), Chapter 3 (Revenue and Taxa-
<br /> tion), Article 5 (Hotel-Motel Tax), Section 1-6.40 by increasing the tax from 5% to
<br /> 8%, be adopted.

<br /> Ordinance No. 1092, amending the City Bingo Ordinance to clarify interpretation and
<br /> bring said ordinance into conformity with changes in Penal Code Section 326.5, be
<br /> adopted.
