for their review and recommendation regarding the modifications made to the project, <br /> that a formal public hearing be held by both the Planning Commission and the City <br /> Council, and that all people in the area be notified of these public hearings. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> ~pplication of AmadoF ,~aJley Investors to change the General Plan land use designa- <br /> tion of approximately 23 acres of land located adjacent and to the north of the <br /> Arroyo Mocho Canal approximately 1500 feet east of the existing terminus of West <br /> Las Positas Boulevard from the General and Limited Industrial designation to the <br /> Medium Density Residential designation <br /> <br /> Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:129) dated March 30, 1983, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br /> declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. George Oakes, representing Amador Valley Investors, stated that he had pre- <br /> viously requested annexation of this property to the City and asked for whatever <br /> zoning the City felt appropriate; adding that he is agreeable to residential zoning <br /> rather than commercial zoning for this property and that he concurs with the staff <br /> report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris read the findings of the Negative Declaration which had been omitted <br /> from the staff report. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed <br /> on the application and the Negative Declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 83-129, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate to <br />change the General Plan land use designation of approximately 23 acres of land located <br />adjacent and to the north of the Arroyo Mocho Canal approximately 1500 feet east of <br />the existing terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard, owned by Amador Valley Investors, <br />from the General and Limited Industrial designation to the Medium Density Residential <br />designation, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 83-131, approving the application of Amador Valley Investors to change <br />the General Plan land use designation of approximately 23 acres of land located adja- <br />cent and to the north of the Arroyo Mocho Canal approximately 1500 feet east of the <br />existing terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard from the General and Limited Indus- <br />trial designation to the Medium Density Residential designation, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor.Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> 5. 4/12/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
