Adoption of Resolution No. 83-86, approving agreement with Records Systems Associates of Danville, in the amount of $11,655, to continue work begun last year on improving the Cityts records system. j. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-87, amending Resolution No. 83-59, consolidating certain voting precincts for the April 19, 1983 special election, to include the following additional voting precinct consolidations: (1) consolidate pre- cinct 96105 with precinct 52040; (2) consolidate precinct 97022 with precinct 52120; and (3) consolidate precinct 97023 with precinct 52070. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brand~' Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: None MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS Ap_pointment Of'ParkandReCreationCommissiOners and Alternate Commissioner Mayor Butler stated that interview~ ~d been held On'February 28, 1983 for the vacancies on the Park and Recreation Commission, and that the following persons were interviewed: Jim Bruno Bernie Cooper Kenneth Gooch V. Sheldon Jones Jonathan W. Korfhage Alfredo F. Meneses R. Lance Ruckteschler Mayor Butler stated it was now in order to make the appointments to this Com- mission. Councilmember Brandes advised that Evelyn King, commissioner whose term is ex- piring, has determined not to seek reappointment as a member of the Park and Recrea- tion Commission, due to personal reasons. He expressed his appreciation to Ms. King, on behalf of the Council, for her outstanding service to the community in this capa- city. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 83-88, reappointing Jim Bruno as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission for a term of four years, said term to expire February 15, 1987; appoint- ing Bernie Cooper as a member on the Park and Recreation Commission for a term of four years, said term to expire February 15, 1987, to fill the expired term of Evelyn King; and appointing Lance Ruckteschler as alternate member on the Park and Recreation Com- mission for a term of four years, said term to expire February 15, 1987, be adopted.
