MINUTES <br /> of <br /> TIlE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 8, 1983 <br /> <br />7:55 P.M. - Mayor Robert Butler recognized two Girl Scout Organizationswho wer~ <br />attending the Council meeting this evening, and presented a Proclamation declaring <br />March 6-12, 1983 as Girl Scout Week. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br />8:00 P.M., and then asked that the Girl Scouts lead in the Pledge of Allegiaace to <br />the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, and <br />Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> There were no agenda amendments presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br />of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 2-22-83. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim April 4-10, 1983, as Cancer Awareness Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> c. Proclaim Week of April 10-16, 1983 as Private Property Week. <br /> <br />d. Introduce Ordinance No. 1075, to be read by title only and waiving further read- <br /> ing thereof, allowing rent increases after condominium conversion in specified <br /> circumstances. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-80, approving plans and specifications for the <br /> sidewalk repair on various City streets, Project No. 83-5, and authorizing call <br /> · for bids. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-81, authorizing that the residential area on the <br /> northerly side of Vervais Avenue be posted for two-hour parking. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-82, a Resolution of Intention in connection with <br /> Assessment District 1982-1, Dublin Canyon Road Improvements; adoption of Resolu- <br /> tion No. 83-83, approving Investigation Report and setting public hearing to be <br /> held on April 26, 1983, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers, in connection <br /> with Assessment District 1982-1, Dublin Canyon Road Improvements; adoption of <br /> Resolution No. 83-84, accepting Engineer's Report and setting public hearing to <br /> be held on April 26, 1983, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers, in connection <br /> with Assessment District 1982-1, Dublin Canyon Road Improvements; and adoption <br /> <br /> <br />
