No action was required or taken bv Council on the item. <br /> <br />Report on the Vineyard Avenue Bike Path Electro!ier Project <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (IR 84:73) dated December 11, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer asked if the poles would remain in the same location they are in <br />now. tie feels they are too far into the sidewalk. Mr. Warnick stated they would <br />remain where they are unless the City agreed to pay to move them. <br /> <br /> No action was required or taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br />Marriott Courtyard Amplication for Sewer Capacity <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 84:656) dated December 11, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated her expectations had been that the sewer allocation <br />would be somewhat lower, as is the case with Doubletree inn. She felt it was pos- <br />sible and would like to see this amount lowered. She stated she would like to re- <br />view this issue and discuss it further with staff. <br /> <br /> Ma~or Mercer stated that the Doubletree Inn is now over bid by $2,500,000, and <br />had to come back in for more capacitv since their original water conservation plan <br />would not work. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 84-631, approving the Marriott Courtyard Hote!'s application for 22,200 <br />gpd of sewer capacity, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-79-2-4M, Minor Modification to Twelve Oaks PUD Pertaining to Fence Type <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated that after reviewing the facts on this matter further, <br />he felt that Mr. Weber's request to keep the fence that he already had, is proper and <br />acceptable. He feels that a solid fence is appropriate, especially with the heavy <br />planting that Mr. Ueber has on both sides of the fence. Councilmember Brandes stated <br />he had checked with both neighbors to Mr. Weber and feels there will be no negative <br />impact on their mroperties. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris stated he has put together wording that could be added to the PUD; this <br />sentence would say that the Director of Planning and Community Development may grant <br />approval to install solid wood and/or wood and masonry fences on side and rear property <br />lines if he determines such fencing would not be noticibly visible from adjacent public <br />streets. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated that he was not anxious to support something that only <br />dealt with Mr. Weber's property and feels a policy regarding the whole frontage makes <br />more sense. <br /> <br /> 9. 12/11/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
