PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />AP-84-14, Appeal of the Clorox Company of certain conditions attached by the Design <br />Review Board to the approval of the design of a 967000s0. ft.~ office .~uildin~ pro- <br />posed to be constructed on the Clorox Company property.'iocated at 7200 Johnson Drive. <br />The property is zoned I-G (General Industrial) District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br />(Contd. Open from 10-30-84) <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes declared this public hearing continued open to the meeting of <br />December 11, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, at the request of <br />the appellant. <br /> <br />Revised CC&R's and Design Guidelines for Hacienda Business Park <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:624) dated November 2?, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Self, General Manager of the Hacienda Business Park Owners Association, <br />stated the revised CC&R's and Design Guidelines are being changed to be in conformance <br />with City codes; advising there are only minor technical language changes. He stated <br />he concurs with the staff report. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Vice Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, approving <br />the revised CC&R's and Design Guidelines for Hacienda Business Park as outlined in <br />Staff Report 84:624, dated November 27, 1984. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: _ <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />PUD-81-80-24D, Application of the Prudential Insurance Company for design review for a <br />three-story, 148 room hotel and restaurant on an approximately 6.34 acre site located <br />on the east side of Hopyard Road, 850 feet south of Gibraltar Drive in the Hacienda <br />Business Park. Zoning. for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial~ <br />Commercial, and Offices District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:625) dated November 27, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ed Hope, 182 Second Street, San Francisco, representing Marriott Hotels, pre- <br />sented a detailed concept of their proposal, including design plans, site plans, type <br />of building materials to be used, and landscaping plans. He presented slides showing <br />exterior and interior design of the proposed project. He stated it has been deter- <br />mined there is a need for this type of facility in the area. He requested approval <br />of the application. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> Mayor Mercer entered the meeting at 8:30 P.M. <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on this item. <br /> 4. 11/27/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
