111 <br /> \ <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested staff to actively pursue discussions with Zone 7 <br />relative to improvement of the arroyo on the southern end of the Sports Park. Mr. <br />Walker advised this is currently being done. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated that street improvements on Hansen From Valley Avenue <br />westerly are unacceptable. He asked what action could be taken by the City against the <br />developer to get this matter resolved, and requested a report back from staff regarding <br />this problem. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes asked what the completion date is for the soundwall on Valley <br />Avenue. Mr. Warnick advised that it is behind schedule. Councilmember Brandes asked <br />staff to take whatever action is necessary to get the soundwall completed as soon as <br />possible. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler requested staff to see that all campaign signs are removed <br />immediately. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested a report on the possibility of a general plan review on <br />residential development. Mr. Walker advised that the Planning Consultant is preparing <br />a report on the matter at this time and it will be ready for consideration at the meet- <br />ing of November 27, 1984. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer asked the status of the Subcommittee reviewing the Pleasanton Housing <br />Authority issue. Councilme~Lber Wood advised that it is up to Dublin City officials to <br />schedule the next meeting, which has not been set at this time. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COF~ITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mr. Leonard McVicor, representing Pacific Urban Design, reqnested Council to con- <br />sider a modification to the design of the Mozart office buildings. After discussion, <br />Mayor Mercer placed this matter on the agenda as item 12f, for Council consideration. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />RZ-84-11, Application of the City Council to fezone an approximately 10~000 sq. ft.. <br />site from R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Commercial District or to any other district consistent with the General <br />Plan. The property A~ located at 1734 Santa Rita Road <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:599') dated NovenfDer 13, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Ms. Cynthia Ostle, the applicant, stated she concurs with the recommendations of <br />staff and Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> A negative declaration was prepared for the general plan amendment for the subject <br />property; this rezoning is in conformance with the general plan amendment, therefore it <br />does not constitute a new project and no environmental document is necessary relative <br />to this item. <br /> <br /> 4. ll/13/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
