Mayor Mercer stated he felt the Mohr house should be accepted by the City now, <br />and the details worked out later; he did not want to take a chance of losing the <br />house. <br /> <br /> Mr. Herb Singleton, a resident 400 feet from the Mohr house, stated the house is <br />safe where it is now. He questioned what value this house has to the City. He stated <br />he felt City funds could be spent in a better fashion. <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that staff be instructed to negotiate to acquire an option to <br />accept the donation of the Mohr house on July 1st or later, and report back to <br />Council with possible options regarding conditions of acquisition. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> <br />Minor Modification to PUD (Planned Unit Development) No. 78-3 (Calli/Suer) <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (IR 84:68) dated October 30, 1984, regarding this <br />matter.
