Adoption of Resolution No. 84-512, approving proposed alignment of the inter- <br /> section of Hopyard Road and Del Valle Parkway; directing the preparation of de- <br /> tailed plans and specifications for traffic signals; 'and authorizing staff to <br /> begin negotiations with the Trinity Lutheran Church for the purchase of the <br /> right-of-way. Mayor Mercer voted NO on this item. <br /> <br />n. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-513, orderinS the annexation of Annexation No. 103, <br /> Frank Allen, a 2.2 acre site between Vineyard Avenue and the Arroyo Del Valle, at <br /> the new extension of Bernal Avenue, which was approved by LAFCO Resolution No. <br /> 84-33; and Adoption of Resolution No. 84-514, ordering the annexation of Annexa- <br /> tion No. 105, Bernal Avenue right-of-way at Western Pacific Railroad - a 5.60 acre <br /> combined site near the Fairgrounds needed for the Railroad Consolidation underpass, <br /> which was approved by LAFCO Resolution No. 84-34. <br /> <br />o. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-515, accepting Deeds from Molinaro for widening on <br /> Stanley Boulevard, and authorizing that the deeds be subsequently recorded. <br /> <br />p. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-516, approving the Amador High School Homecoming <br /> Parade to be held November 2, 1984, subject to all conditions contained in Staff <br /> Report SR 84:540 dated October 16, 1984, and amending the budget to include <br /> $215.00 for police overtime related to this event. <br /> <br />q. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-517, approval of revision to future Zone 7 mainte- <br /> nance access road, Tracts 498~, 5160, 5161, and 5162, The Vineyards. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Mayor Mercer on item 4m <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Mayor Mercer requested staff to look into problems on Vineyard Avenue related to <br />lack of street lighting, and vehicular use of bike lanes as passing lanes. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested Staff Traffic Committee to investigate the possibility <br />of placing a stop sign on Touriga at its intersection with Tawny, because of in- <br />creased traffic in this area. <br /> 2. 10/16/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
