265 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 10, 1984 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br /> at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br /> and Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker advised that item 8n - Application of Ollirep Properties, will be <br /> continued to the meeting of October 30, 1984. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 10-2-84. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim October as National Crime Prevention Month, and October 15-19, 1984 <br /> as California Safe School Week. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1149, approval of RZ-84-8, application of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to prezone the approximately 8 acre site located on the north side <br /> of Vineyard Avenue opposite Mavis Drive to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br /> Medium Density Residential District. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1155, amending Section 2-20.04 of Chapter 13 of Title <br /> II of the Ordinance Code clarifying the Mortgage Revenue Bond Program Exemption <br /> of the Growth Management Plan. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1156, relating to specific parking regulations for the <br /> Central Business District amending Section 2-9.15 (Basic Requirements), Article <br /> 16 (Off-Street Parking Facilities), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and <br /> Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1157, approval of RZ-84-16, application of the Planning <br /> Commission of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Ordinance Code to allow for re- <br /> creation vehicle storage facilities as conditionally permitted uses in the "A" <br /> (Agricultural) District. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-506, approving the application of funds under the <br /> Regional Competitive Program of the California Parks and Facilities Act of 1984 <br /> for Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park Front Section, Phase V Project; and <br /> appointing the Director of Parks and Community Services to conduct all negotia- <br /> tions, execute and submit all documents which may be necessary for the completion <br /> of the aforementioned project. <br /> <br /> <br />
