<br /> Ms. Donna McMillion, 4454 Shearwater Court, reviewed her family history and per-
<br />sonal interest in preserving the Mohr house. She read a letter from her father,
<br />Everett Kamp, urging preservation of the house as this community's history and adding
<br />that it will be an asset to the City. Ms. McMillion stated that the following persons
<br />asked to have their names read in support of preservation of the Mohr house: Mr. and
<br />Mrs. Jim Trimingham, Mr. and Mrs. Warren HatdinE, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Philcox, Mr. and
<br />Mrs. Arnold Abrott, Jack Fiorio, Mrs. Fiorio, Mr. and Mrs. Kalb, Mr. and Mrs. B. H.
<br />Hall, Mrs. Nellsen, and Mrs. Dagmar Fulton.

<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Council-
<br />member Butler, to refer the matter of preservation of the Mohr House to the Park and
<br />Recreation Commission for their recommendation relative to a relocation site, and
<br />instructing staff to prepare a report regarding approximate costs and funding alter-
<br />natives for the move.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:

<br /> Mayor Mercer commended Councilmember Mohr for her efforts in securing the Mohr
<br />house as a gift to the City.
<br />
<br /> Councilmember Brandes requested staff to investigate requiring the developer of
<br />a project to connect down spouts to the drain pipes as a condition of approval.
<br />
<br /> Councilmember Brandes advised that salary adjustments for the City Manager and
<br />City Attorney are in order at this time. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and
<br />seconded by Councilmember Wood, that Resolution No. 84-497, approving a compensation
<br />plan establishing the salary of $4,650.00 per month, and supplementary benefits for
<br />City Manager James R. Walker effective May 13, 1984, and amending the budget accord-
<br />ingly, be adopted.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that
<br />Resolution No. 84-498, approving a compensation plan establishing the salary of
<br />$4,250.00 per month, and supplementary benefits for City Attorney Peter D. MacDonald
<br />effective July 1, 1984, and amending the budget accordingly, be adopted.

<br /> Councilmember Butler stated that the Heritage Days festival held last week in
<br />Pleasanton was extremely successful, and he advised that Livermore Cultural Arts
<br />celebration is scheduled this week in Livermore.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Mercer asked staff to investigate the possibility of watering the street
<br />medians betwen 12 midnight and 6:00 a.m., so that not as many cars driving on the
<br />streets will be sprayed with water.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Mercer requested staff to contact Zone 7 in a strong effort to get them
<br />to clean up the arroyo where it abuts the Sports Park on the south side.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Mercer stated he has received a letter from Mozart Development Company
<br />requesting to meet with City officials and representatives of BART regarding the
<br />
