275 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Ordinance No. 1157, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving RZ-84-16, application of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />to amend the Ordinance Code to allow for recreation vehicle storage facilities as <br />conditionally permitted uses in the "A" (Agricultural) District, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />North Pleasanton Fire Protection Assessment District No. 1982-6 <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Assistant City Manager (SR 84:513) dated <br />September 26, 1984, asking that the item be continued to October 16, 1984. <br /> <br /> Mr. Robert Brunsell, Bond Counsel, explained the reason for the request for con- <br />tinuance is to allow for inclusion of the bid results on the off-site improvements. <br />He asked if any protest letters on this Assessment District had been received to date. <br />The City Clerk advised that none had been received. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sam Zullo, representing Mark Thomas and Company, described the items pertinent <br />to work in the North Pleasanton Fire Protection Assessment District, which will in- <br />clude a fire station, off-site improvements, and training facilities. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tom Andrews, representing Valley Memorial Hospital, stated he would like to <br />have the hospital site excluded from the assessment district but would elaborate in <br />more detail on this matter at the meeting of October 16, 1984. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that Resolution No. 84-504, opening the public hearing in connection with <br />the North Pleasanton Fire Protection Assessment District No. 1982-6, and continuing <br />the item to the meeting of October 16, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council <br />Chambers, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board~ and Planning Commis- <br />sion at their meeting of 9-12-84 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:490) dated September 14, 1984, regarding <br />this matter for the information of the Council. No action was required or taken by <br />Council on the item.
