277 <br /> <br /> Ms. Cathy Deino, POD, landscape architect for this project, presented landscaping <br />plans for the development. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 84-503, approving PUD-81-30-22D, application of <br />Callahan Pentz Properties for design review approval for a two-building office com- <br />plex approximately 92,600 sq. ft., on an approximately 4.7 acre site located at the <br />southeast corner of the intersection of Chabot and Gibraltar Drives, subject to the <br />following conditions: (1) that the development be substantially as shown on the site <br />plan, elevations, landscape plan and grading plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Plan- <br />ning Department; (2) that the maximum floor ratio for the subject property shall be <br />43%; (3) that approval of this case also constitutes approval of the two free stand- <br />ing signs as shown in Exhibit A; (4) that approval of case PUD-81-30-22D is subject <br />to all conditions of approval of case MS-82-13 approving parcel map 3858; (5) that <br />the development shall be subject to all conditions of approval of Ordinance No. 1109 <br />reapproving the Hacienda Business Park; (6) that the developer shall have a traffic <br />engineer review the potential effects of vehicle stacking and turning movements from <br />southbound Chabot Drive left into the north driveway of Chabot Drive, and the traffic <br />engineer shall submit recommendations and any proposed changes to the City Engineer <br />for review prior to the final approval of plans for this development; and (7) that <br />this development is subject to all Standard Conditions of Development, made part of <br />this case by reference, except conditions 12, 29, 33, 35, 46, 49, 50, and 54, be <br />adopted. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes to amend the motion to remove the palm trees <br />from the landscaping plan. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />The roll call vote on adoption of Rksolution No. 84-503 was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />RZ-84-16, Application of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton to amend <br />the Ordinance Code to allow for recreation vehicle storage facilities as condition- <br />ally permitted uses in the "A" (Agricultural) District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:518) dated September 25, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bill Newnam, 5130 Foothill Road, stated there is a real need for extra parks <br />for recreational vehicles in this area. He stated he has two acres he would like to <br />use for this purpose and in order to apply for a use permit he needs an amendment to <br />the ordinance code.
