273 <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THECITYMANAGER <br /> Request for Annexation of Approximately 2.6 Acres at the Northerly Terminus of <br /> Virginia Way (Margaret Ovler) ....... <br /> Mr. WarWick presente~ his report (SR 84:508)dated October 2, 1984, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> A representative of Coldwell Banker who is representing Robert Moon, the new <br /> owner of the subject property, stated he would like to annex this property to the <br /> City, and felt that the best access to the property would be on Virginia Way. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Brandes, that Resolution No. 84-505, denying the request for annexation of <br />2.6 acres on Virginia Way (Margaret Oyler), after making the following findings: <br />(1) annexing only the Oyler property from the remaining island would cause services <br />problems; (2) would not be a logical expansion of the City Boundaries at this time; <br />(3) proper access cannot be provided; and (4) the Study Report for this area should <br />be completed before consideration of annexation of the property, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> <br />October, November, and December City Council Agenda Planning Report <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Agenda Planning Report for the month of <br />October, November, and December, for the information of Council. <br /> <br />Minor Modification to Kindercare Child Care Center <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (IR 84:59) dated September 18, 1984, regarding <br />this matter.
