e79 <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Howard Sword, representing CPS-Pleasanton I, described the proposed project <br />and presented renderings of the buildings. He stated he has reviewed the staff re- <br />port and concurs with conditions of approval. <br /> <br /> Ms. Cathy Deino, POD, landscape architect for this project, reviewed the entire <br />landscape plan describing the species of the plants in their plan. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 84-502, approving PUD-81-30-21D, application of Callahan Pentz Pro- <br />perties for architectural approval for two single-story office buildings approxi- <br />mately 24,800 sq. ft. and 33,450 sq. ft., each on an approximately 3.9 acre site <br />located on the west side of Willow Road approximately 400 feet north of the inter- <br />section of West Las Positas Boulevard and Willow Road, subject to the following <br />conditions: (1) that the development be substantially as shown on the site plan, <br />elevations, landscape plan and grading plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Department; (2) that approval of case PUD-81-30-21D includes the approval of two <br />free standing signs as shown on page 4 of Exhibit A; (3) that the driveway on the <br />south side of this development shall be constructed to the full thirty foot width <br />at the time of construction of this development and that an A.C. berm be installed <br />in-lieu of headerboard as an interim edge condition; (4) that approval of case PUD- <br />81-30-21D is subject to all conditions of approval of case MS-82-13 approving parcel <br />map 3858; (5) that the development shall be subject to all conditions of approval of <br />Ordinance No. 1109 approving Hacienda Business Park; (6) that the minimum width of <br />all standard size parking spaces shall be at least 8 ft. 8 in.; and (7) that this <br />development is subject to all Standard Conditions of Development, made a part of <br />this case by reference, except conditions 12, 29, 33, 35, 46, 49, 50, 51, and 54, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-81-30-.2.2D, Application of Callahan Pentz Properties for desiSn review approval <br />for a two-building office complex of approximately 92~600 s~. ft.? on an approxi- <br />mately 4.7 acre site located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Chabot <br />and Gibraltar Drives. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Industrial, Commercial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:525) dated September 27, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Howard Sword, representing Callahan Pentz Properties, stated this is a <br />multi-tenant oriented project, which is needed in Hacienda Business Park. He pre- <br />sented renderings and models revealing design of the proposed project. He reviewed <br />the types of materials to be used, elaborating on the glass products. Mr. Sword <br />stated he has reviewed the staff report and has no objections to conditions con- <br />tained therein. <br /> <br /> Mr. Steve Fee, representing Callahan Pentz Properties, elaborated on the color <br />scheme to be used. <br /> <br /> 12. 10/2/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
