Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:510) dated September 24, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Warren Sattler, representing Prudential Insurance Company, stated this pro- <br />ject will be occupied by United Grocers, who will also purchase the building. He <br />stated he concurs with the staff report and conditions contained therein. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bob Galloway, representing United Grocers, advised this will be the head- <br />quarters for United Grocers offices, with approximately 125-175 employees. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vince Wong, Architect for the project, described the building and presented <br />renderings elaborating on the design, landscaping, and parking. He advised that the <br />project will be built in two phases, but that landscaping and parking for the entire <br />project will be done at the first phase. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony~ Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 84-501, approving PUD-81-30-19D, application of the Prudential Insur- <br />ance Company for architectural and signage design review for a single-story, approxi- <br />mately 45,000 sq. ft., office building on an approximately 5.2 acre site located at <br />the northwest corner of the intersection of Inglewood Drive and Willow Road, subject <br />to all conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2525, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-81-30-21D, Application of Callahan Pentz Properties for architectural approval <br />for two single-story office buildings approximately 24~800 sq. ~t.~ and 33~45p sq. <br />ft., each on an approximately 3.9 acre site located on the west side of Willow Road <br />approximately 400 feet north of the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard and <br />Willow Road.
