No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public heaping <br /> closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohp, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1148, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br /> approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Ordinance Code to <br /> increase the length of outdoor sales events from a maximum of three days to five <br /> days pep event, be introduced. <br /> The Poll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Mohp, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> RZ-84-10, Application of the Planning Commission to amend certain sections of the <br />C~ zoning code as they pertain to temporary signs adjacent to freeways <br />CD Mr. Harris presented his Pepopt (SR 84:404) dated August 9, 1984, stating that <br />T~ Planning Commission considered this matter at their meeting of 8/8/84, but continued <br /> Ill it to their meeting of 9/12/84. He requested that Council continue this item to the <br /> Council meeting of October 2 198~. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public heaping open on this item, and continued it to <br /> the meeting of October 2, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br /> Application of the City of Pleasanton fop the construction of an underpass structure <br /> and related improvements to allow fop the future extension of Hacienda Drive from <br /> its existing eastern terminus underneath the tracks of the Southern Pacific Trans- <br /> portation Company located approximately 750 feet northeast of the intersection of <br /> -- Gibraltar Drive and Hacienda Drive. Among related improvements ape pedestrian/bike <br /> path sections and required utilities installation" <br /> <br /> Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his Pepopt (SR 84:422) dated August 142 1984, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public he~ring open on the application and the negative <br /> declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roger Gage, representing Prudential Insurance Company, stated he supports <br /> this action and needs the negative declaration in order to proceed with PUC approvals. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br /> on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> Resolution No. 84-413, determining on the basis of a review of the initial environ- <br /> mental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would <br /> occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appro- <br /> priate in connection with the City of Pleasanton for the construction of an underpass <br /> structure and related improvements to allow for the future extension of Hacienda <br /> Drive from its existing eastern terminus underneath the tracks of the Southern Paci- <br /> fic Transportation Company located approximately 750 feet northeast of the inter- <br /> section of Gibraltar Drive and Hacienda Drive, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohp, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> 7. 8/14/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
