It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohp, that Ordinance No. 1148, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Ordinance Code to increase the length of outdoor sales events from a maximum of three days to five days pep event, be introduced. Mr. Roger Gage, representing Prudential Insurance Company, stated he supports this action and needs the negative declaration in order to proceed with PUC approvals. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 84-413, determining on the basis of a review of the initial environ- mental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appro- priate in connection with the City of Pleasanton for the construction of an underpass structure and related improvements to allow for the future extension of Hacienda Drive from its existing eastern terminus underneath the tracks of the Southern Paci- fic Transportation Company located approximately 750 feet northeast of the inter- section of Gibraltar Drive and Hacienda Drive, be adopted.
