Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 8:55 P.M., to allow Mr. Perkins to meet with <br />members of the Stoneson Homeowners Association who were present in the audience. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> While the homeowners were convening, Mayor Mercer recessed the Councilmembers <br />to an Executive Session to discuss labor relations. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer Peconvened the meeting at 9:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mr. Perkins stated that after conferring with the homeowners he would like to <br />request a continuance of his appeal to the City Council meeting of September 11, <br />1984. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gregory Stubbs, Attorney for Stoneson Development Company, stated he con- <br />cupped with the continuance of four weeks to allow fop formal settlement of this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer asked Mr. Stubbs if he would consent to waive the 40 day limit for <br />decision by Council. Mr. Stubbs agreed to the waiver. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember MohP, to con- <br />tinue the public heaping open on the appeal of Michael Perkins of a decision of the <br />Planning Commission approving a conditional use permit to allow the establishment <br />and operation of a subdivision sales office and model home complex in three resi- <br />dential units located at the southeast corner of Springdale Avenue and Stonedale <br />Drive, to the City Council meeting of September 11, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasan- <br />ton Council Chambers. <br />The Poll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested this item be placed first on the agenda of September llth. <br /> <br />PUD-82-13-2M, Application of the Deer Oaks Land Company for a modification to the <br />PUD (Planned.. Unit Development) ordinance affecting ~n approximately 48 acre site <br />relative to the maintenance of an existing oak tree and emergency roadway surface <br />construction, located on the west side of Foothill Road neap its intersection with <br />Bernat Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Den- <br />sity Residential/Open Space District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:408) dated August 9, 1984, stating that <br />this matter was considered by the Planning Commission at their meeting of 8/8/84, <br />but no decision was made and the item therefore was continued to their meeting of <br />8/22/84. He requested Council to continue the item to the Council meeting of 8/28/84. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public heaping open, and continued the item to the <br />meeting of August 28, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br />RZ-84-12, Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Ordinance Code to <br />increase the length of outdoor sales events from a maximum of three days to five <br />days per event <br /> Mr. Harris presented his pepopt (SR 84:439) dated August 8, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Maurice Feigenberg, representing Grutmans and the Amador Center, stated he <br />concurred with this change, and he requested final approval of the amendment. <br /> <br /> 6. 8/14/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
