the ordinance is concern by City Council that the State is not doing regular in- <br />spections thereby jeopardizing the safety of mobile home park tenants. He advised <br />the City would use the same standards for inspections as the State. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Mr. Steve Hughes indicated that some tenants might be <br />afraid to go to their managers with problems, but this does not seem to be the case <br />as evidenced by the attendance of mobile home park tenants tonight who are opposed <br />to the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes that an ordinance <br />of the City of Pleasanton assuming responsibility for the enforcement of the mobile <br />home parks act and related regulations of the California Administrative Code and <br />designating the enforcement agency, be introduced. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> No further action was taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 10:45 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 10:50 P.M. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1145~ approving the application for an amendment to the <br />Development Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Wells Fargo Bank, National <br />Association for the Stoneridge Shopping Center and surroundin~ p~ripheral properties <br />(Intro. 6-12-84~ 4-Ayes~ 1-No) <br /> Mayor Mercer requested this item be referred to the Sewer Committee for review <br />and recommendation since excess sewer capacity is involved with this application. <br />Council concurred. <br /> <br /> This matter was subsequently considered later in the meeting under Reports of <br />the City Manager, item 12h. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board, and Planning Commission <br />at their meeting of 6-13-84 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:326) dated June 14, 1984, regarding this <br />matter for the information of the Council. No action was required or taken by Council <br />on this item. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Approval of plans, specifications and agreement for construction of the East Amador <br />Relief Sewer and discussion of funding therefore <br />(Contd. from 6-12-84) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 84:339) dated June 26, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 84-328, after hearing no protests from affected property owners, approve <br />the plans, specifications, and agreement for the East Amador Relief Sewer within <br />Hacienda Business Park, and authorizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate <br />city officials, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />~'xL~: councilmembers ~ranGes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> 11. 6/26/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
