the ordinance is concern by City Council that the State is not doing regular in- spections thereby jeopardizing the safety of mobile home park tenants. He advised the City would use the same standards for inspections as the State. Mayor Mercer stated that Mr. Steve Hughes indicated that some tenants might be afraid to go to their managers with problems, but this does not seem to be the case as evidenced by the attendance of mobile home park tenants tonight who are opposed to the proposed ordinance. After further discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes that an ordinance of the City of Pleasanton assuming responsibility for the enforcement of the mobile home parks act and related regulations of the California Administrative Code and designating the enforcement agency, be introduced. The motion died for lack of a second. No further action was taken by Council on this item. Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 10:45 P.M. Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 10:50 P.M. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION Adoption of Ordinance No. 1145~ approving the application for an amendment to the Development Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Wells Fargo Bank, National Association for the Stoneridge Shopping Center and surroundin~ p~ripheral properties (Intro. 6-12-84~ 4-Ayes~ 1-No) Mayor Mercer requested this item be referred to the Sewer Committee for review and recommendation since excess sewer capacity is involved with this application. Council concurred. This matter was subsequently considered later in the meeting under Reports of the City Manager, item 12h. SPECIAL REPORTS There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Approval of plans, specifications and agreement for construction of the East Amador Relief Sewer and discussion of funding therefore (Contd. from 6-12-84) Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 84:339) dated June 26, 1984, regarding this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 84-328, after hearing no protests from affected property owners, approve the plans, specifications, and agreement for the East Amador Relief Sewer within Hacienda Business Park, and authorizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate city officials, be adopted.
