existing buildings on Rheem Drive, and stated that their project will have a parking <br />ratio and a landscape ratio inbetween that of the other existing buildings. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Fields, Danville, commercial real estate broker, stated the tenant mix <br />in this market place requires heavy parking ratio and he would not like to see the <br />numbers changed. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br />on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 84-293, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate in <br />connection with the application of Ashwill Hawkins and Partners, Inc., for design <br />approval of four ~ffice/industrial buildings totalling approximately 36,900 sq. ft., <br />and related facilities on an approximately 2.4 acre site at 2174 and 2183 Rheem Drive, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler expressed concern regarding the appearance of these buildings <br />from Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 84-294, approving the application of Ashwill Hawkins <br />and Partners, Inc., for design approval of four office/industrial buildings totalling <br />approximately 36,900 sq. ft., and related facilities on an approximately 2.4 acre site <br />at 2174 and 2183 Rheem Drive, subject to all conditions set forth in Staff Reports <br />84:320 and 84:269, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of Ashwill Hawkins and Partners, Inc.~ for design review approval of an <br />approximately 13,800 s~. ft. building and related facilities on an approximately <br />0.86 acre site at 2158 Rheem Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Deve!opment)-Industrial District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br />(Contd.
