Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Com- mercia! and Offices/General and Limited Industrial District Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:271) dated May 14, 1984, regarding this matter. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. Mr. Roger Gage, Prudential Insurance Company, speaking as co-applicant with Gus Enterprises and Sheraton Hotels, presented architectural drawings comparing the present application with the original application, reviewing in detail the changes being made to allow better location of buildings on the complex, and improved landscaping. Council discussion ensued regarding parking spaces for the project. Mr. Gage stated the project meets the parking requirements of City ordinance code. No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 84-256, approving the application of Gus Enterprises and the Prudential Insurance Company of America for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-development plan approval of a 216 room hotel/restaurant complex consisting of approximately 140,000 sq. ft. of building area and related facilities on an approximately ten acre site at the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and Gibraltar Drive, subject to all of the conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2465, be adopted. Application for an amendment to the Development Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Wells Fargo Bank, National Association for the Stoneridge Shopping Center and sur- 9'ounding'peripherai properties.
