Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:191) dated April 3, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the application. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Ordinance No. 1135, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of the City of Pleasanton and Kushel Dahya Patel, et al, <br />for a development agreement with regard to the development and use of an approximately <br />17,000 sq. ft. site located adjacent and to the south of 2025 Santa Rita Road, be <br />introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone approximateAy 5.6 acres in the <br />vicinity of Bernal Avenue and its proposed extension on the east and west sides of <br />the Western Pacific Railroad Tracks to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commer- <br />cial and Offices, General and Limited Industrial/A~ricultural Districts, or to any <br />other zoning districts consistent with the General Plan, and to designate the bal- <br />ance of such area for public roadway use <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:189) dated April 3, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 84-168, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate in <br />connection with the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone approximately <br />5.6 acres in the vicinity of Bernal Avenue and its proposed extension on the east and <br />west sides of the Western Pacific Railroad Tracks to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Commercial and Offices, General and Limited Industrial/Agricultural Districts, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Ordinance No. 1136, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone approximately 5.6 acres <br />in the vicinity of Bernal Avenue and its proposed extension on the east and west sides <br />of the Western Pacific Railroad Tracks to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial <br />and Offices, General and Limited Industrial/Agricultural Districts (the northernmost <br /> <br /> 8. 4/10/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
