Application of Clifford Preston for rezoning and development plan approval for a nine <br />unit townhouse complex on an approximately .5 acre site, located at the northeast <br />corner of the intersection of Mission Drive and Dolores Drive. Zoning for the pro- <br />~is RM-2500 (Multi-family Residential) District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:160) dated March 20, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Clifford Preston, applicant, 464 Del Sol, stated he concurs with the staff <br />report and requests approval of this application. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Ordinance No. 1132, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of Clifford Preston for rezoning and development plan approval <br />for a nine unit townhouse complex on an approximately .5 acre site, located at the <br />northeast corner of the intersection of Mission Drive and Dolores Drive, subject to all <br />conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2436, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEHT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />Application of Frank Auf der Maur for PUP (Planned Unit Development)-develomment plan <br />approval of an approximately 38 acre commercial business park consisting of 32 commer- <br />cial lots ranging in size from 0.5 to over 1.0 acre in size and related facilities to <br />be located at the eastern terminus of the Del Valle Par~waZ - southeast of the inter- <br />section of Washington Street and Stanley Boulevard. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Develomment)-Commercial District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Mitigated Negative Declaration <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item and continued to the <br />meeting of April 24, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, at the re- <br />quest of the applicant. <br /> <br />Application of Amador Associates for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-zoning and develop- <br />ment pjan approval for a 46 unit residential development project on approximately 4.7 <br />acres at 3780 Vineyard Avenue. Zoning for the pFjperty is R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lou Baldacci, representing Amador Associates, requested this item be continued. <br /> <br /> Ms. Karen Duran, 3815 Vine Street, speaking on both items 8d and 9e, stated that <br />the quality of life is being threatened in the Remen Tract area because of the develop- <br />ment already under construction and that being proposed. She advised that development <br />has seriously impacted the open space and traffic. She requested Council to be sympa- <br />thetic to the concerns of the residents of Remen Tract as well as Vintage Hills relative <br />to this matter, and she suggested that a moratorium be placed on any future development <br />in the Pico/Vineyard Avenue area until Council can comprehensively review development <br />of the area. <br /> <br /> 3/27/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
