It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 84-107, approving the Gatewood Apartments project and the issuance of <br />bonds therefore, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />!doption of Resolution of Necessity - Perry Property for Del Valle Parkway <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented the report of the Assistant City Attorney (SR 84:97) <br />dated February 23, 1984, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the issue. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 84-108, a resolution of necessity to acquire by eminent domain pro- <br />perty needed for the extension of Del Valle Parkway westerly of Main Street, after <br />making the following findings: (1) the public interest and necessity require the <br />proposed project; (2) the proposed project is planned or located in the manner that <br />will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private injury; <br />(3) the property described in the resolution is necessary for the proposed project; <br />and (4) an offer to acquire the property, meeting the requirements of Government Code <br />Section 7267.2, has been made to the owner of record, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1125, approving the application of vorelco of California~ <br />Inc., and Integrated Storage Corporation for PUD (Planned Unit Development) develop- <br />ment plan approval for an approximately 70,000 sq. ft. mini storage facility on an <br />approximately 2.5 acre site located at the southeast corner of Stoneridge Drive and <br />1-680 <br />(Intro. 2-14-84, 3-Ayes, 2-Noes) <br /> Mayor Butler stated that Ordinance No. 1125 was introduced on February 14, 1984, <br />by a vote of 3-Ayes, 2-Noes, and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that Ordinance No. 1125, approving the application of Vorelco of Cali- <br />fornia, Inc., and Integrated Storage Corporation for PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />development plan approval for an approximately 70,000 sq. ft., mini storage facility <br />on an approximately 2.5 acre site located at the southeast corner of Stoneridge Drive <br />and 1-680, be re-introduced, adding the conditions that: (1) the southern most build- <br />ing on the plan be reduced to one story in height; and (2) requiring the roof to be <br />of tile material meeting the approval of City Council. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, and Wood <br />NOES: Mayor Butler <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 8. 2/28/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
