<br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:103) dated February 16, 1984, regarding
<br />this matter.

<br /> Mr. Mike Harris, representing Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc., a non-profit organi-
<br />zation, reviewed the alternatives for housing occupancy, and requested a commitment
<br />from the City relative to the use of the 13.3 acre site of the Corporation Yard as
<br />well as a commitment to use City Housing Funds in the amount of $50,000.00 for pre-
<br />development expenses.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, commended this group for their efforts to
<br />secure needed moderate income housing in Pleasanton. He stated he favored alternative
<br />2, which would allow for mixed age group occupancy, which he felt provided a healthier
<br />environment for all.
<br />
<br /> Council commended Mr. Harris and his committee for their outstanding efforts to
<br />secure moderate income housing in Pleasanton.
<br />
<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council-
<br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 84-110, approving Alternative #1, a 200 unit project
<br />that would provide 100% elderly housing with 51% of the units affordable and 49% of
<br />the units market rate, sponsored by Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc., be adopted.
