Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative declaration. No one in the audience spoke in favor of this item. Ms. Margaret Tracy, Livermore, asked if this property is on the Calaveras Fault Line and if earthquake studies have been done on the parcel. Mr. Harris advised it is not exactly known where the Calaveras Fault is in relation to this property but when development plans are presented for approval a geological study will be re- quired at that time. There being no further testimony, Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed on the application and the negative declaration. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 84-44, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate in connection with the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone approximately 3.9 acres at 3885 Foothill Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Low Density Residential District, be adopted.
